She’talua Earrings


She’talua, reflections off water in the Klamath language, were named so for the mirrored pattern in the fringe. Glass heart beads are nestled within the shell and copper findings and beads are used.

Made with clam shells that were harvested by the artist and their family on traditional Ko-Kwell territory, copper findings, and size 11 seed beads.
